The three-story high Tokyo station building was designed by Tatsuno Kingo and inaugurated in 1914. Most of the station was destroyed during firebombing on May 25 1945. The octagonal ceiling with its 8 eagles was rebuilt according to the original design. The keystone is inspired by a 15th century military commander's helmet

The Tokyo International Forum is a multi-purpose exhibition center, shaped like a boat. It was designed by Rafael Viñoly and completed in 1996. In 2021, it served as the weightlifting venue for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Tokyo Skytree
The Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting and observation tower opened in 2012. With a height of 634m it is the second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa. To the right the Asahi Beer Hall with the Asahi Flame on its top, designed by Philippe Starck and completed in 1989.

This 44-story, 216m high, office tower was designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates and completed in 2003. It is the 15th tallest skyscraper in Tokyo.
